Naresh Gokulsing elected as President of IAM

The Insurers Association of Mauritius (IAM) held its 52nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 18, 2025, at the Hennessy Park Hotel in Ebène.

During the AGM, Mr. Naresh Gokulsing was elected as the new President of IAM, succeeding Mr. Rishi Sookdawoor, who now holds the title of Immediate Past President. The rest of the IAM leadership team remains unchanged.

The outgoing President, Mr. Rishi Sookdawoor, presented the IAM 2025 Annual Review, highlighting key achievements and challenges of the insurance industry over the past year. He emphasised the industry's resilience in navigating economic uncertainties, adapting to emerging risks, and maintaining strong governance practices. 

The meeting was graced by the presence of the Minister of Financial Services and Economic Planning, Dr. the Hon Mrs Jyoti Jeetun.
